UNDP, private sector sign MOU; set up anti-corruption fund

Kyo Naka, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Deputy Resident Representative, and Loida Nicolas-Lewis, chairperson of the Business for Integrity and Stability of Our Nation Foundation, Inc. (BISYON 2020), led representatives from the private sector and UNDP in a symbolic gesture of partnership and strength during the signing of the Memorandum of Undertaking (MOU) formalizing the UNDP-Bisyon Partership for Anti-Corruption, last May 5 at the Tower Club in Philam Life Building, Makati.

The MOU represents the innovative partnership between UNDP and the private sector to fight corruption in the country, providing the framework for overall partnership in the areas of integrity development advocacy, project development, proposal appraisal, screening of implementing partners, and project monitoring and evaluation.  The partnership provides invaluable support to anti-corruption activities of both government and non-government organizations.
