Brief Description: |
The ACT (Action for Conflict Transformation) for Peace Programme seeks to respond to the complex situation of conflict in Mindanao, which involves a range of ongoing, potential, and post-conflict situations in the target areas.
Building on the previous phases of multidonor assistance to Mindanao, this 5-year programme is intended to contribute to the consolidation of peace and development in the area through continued assistance to Peace and Development Communities (PDCs), initially composed of areas of former combatants of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), now including Indigenous Peoples' (IPs) communities and other conflict-affected areas. It also aims to enhance capacities and partnerships for peace-building and conflict transformation. |
